On November 2022, I had the privilege of taking part in the event "The Future of Talent," held at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome.
Organised by CCUM (Conference of Merit University Colleges), the event gathered 120 students from Italy's residents from 57 Merit Colleges who engaged in discussions with deputies, senators, and representatives from the Ministry of University and Research (MUR). Key topics included support for education, access to the job market, bridging disparities, and addressing the North-South divide.
The discussions centred on providing equal opportunities, nurturing individual potential, and addressing brain drain issues, with a focus on concrete initiatives to encourage talent retention and fostering active citizenship among young people.
